We sat down with Zac, Fruits Hair Lab stylist, and chatted about fall hair trends. Here is what Zac had to say.
“We have to keep the integrity of the hair above everything”– Zac, Fruits Hair Lab Stylist
What trends are you seeing for fall?
Loving red fox browns, and enjoying warm tones. We are getting away from cooler tones. Everyone’s hair lifts warm naturally, so we are working with that as opposed to canceling it out. Warm colors are easier to maintain! Purple shampoos can dry your hair out. Now that Games of Thrones is over, people are not going for Khaleesi anymore.
How should we transition our hair routine for fall? What trends are you seeing for fall?
A lot of people are coming in and asking what our opinions are for their hair. My goal is hair health overall. We want to keep the integrity of the hair above everything. You can have cool hair but you have set a goal for yourself and that may take a year to get to where you want to be. But you have to have patience. It’s a process! It’s not Microsoft Paint! You can’t just right click and it’s blue, right click and it’s green. These are individual strands of skin cells that all come together to create a cohesive look. Or they don’t come together to create a cohesive look!
