Playing with our 14" extensions is the perfect way to experiment with a new color, add pops of color to your hair, and switch up your look depending on your mood. Here's how to get started:

Step 1: Fully saturate your clip-in with the color (or colors) of your choice. Let it sit for 30 minutes. When it's done processing, rinse it in your sink until the water runs clear. Give it a little shampoo and let it dry.

Step 2: To apply your clip-in, take a horizontal section where you want your extension to sit.

Pro tip: The higher you place the extension, the less you'll have to cut off.

Take a comb and lightly back comb that area. You only need a little bit of support, so just one or 2 pushes should create the right foundation. If you have finer hair, you can put a little hairspray on that back-combed section to hold.

Bend the clip on the top of the extension until it snaps open, take the teeth of the clip and wiggle the teeth into the back-combed hair in a scooping motion. Bend the clip back into place so that the roundness of the clip fits against your head.

Step 3: Cut the extension and blend it in! Take your scissors and point cut vertically into the extension to get rid of the extra length without adding any blunt edges. Be careful to not cut your own hair!

Step 4: Style! You can style these extensions with heat up to 360 degrees. Make sure you use Prime heat protection to keep the color vibrant and keep the hair healthy!
