Brainwash will be darker and warner over level 8 hair due to the strong yellow undertones.

We do not recommend using Brainwash over level 7 or darker hair.

How To Use Ingredients

To create the best blank canvas for your color, we recommend that you first lighten your hair with our easy-to-use GDY Lightening Kit. Our semi-perms work best over pre-lightened hair, levels 7-10. Please refer to individual colors for the best starting level.
Squeeze your color into a plastic bowl. Remember: wear gloves to prevent staining on your hands.
Do a strand test before applying the color all over your hair to ensure you love the look.
Divide your hair into 4 equal sections and apply dye directly onto dry hair with a color brush or your fingers. Make sure the color is fully saturated throughout each section by applying a dollop of color for every two inch portion of your hair. Gently emulsify/massage into the hair to ensure coverage.
Let the color sit on your hair for at least 30 minutes.
Rinse with cool water.

I didn’t get the color i expected

"I got brainwash and put it on my hair. Instead of pink bubble gum colored hair, I have blue, purple and a little bit of pink colored hair. It’s like I went to the salon and they did that highlight cap. Everyone loves it, and it looks cute. But I was expecting pink hair."
