How To Use Ingredients

1. To create the best blank canvas for your color, we recommend that you first lighten your hair with our easy-to-use GDY Lightening Kit. Our semi-perms work best over pre-lightened hair, levels 7-10. Please refer to individual colors for the best starting level.

2. Squeeze your color into a plastic bowl. Remember: wear gloves to prevent staining on your hands.

3. Do a strand test before applying the color all over your hair to ensure you love the look.

4. Divide your hair into 4 equal sections and apply dye directly onto dry hair with a color brush or your fingers. Make sure the color is fully saturated throughout each section by applying a dollop of color for every two inch portion of your hair. Gently emulsify/massage into the hair to ensure coverage.

5. Let the color sit on your hair for at least 30 minutes.

6. Rinse with cool water.

It's just ok, not really true to described color.

"I've had pink hair for over three years, and I've used many different pink dyes (ex-girl being my fav). I had really high hopes for this hair dye, especially with my hair being already an incredibly washed out pink and freshly bleached roots. I was really hoping for a much brighter color. Overall, the dye came out somewhat patchy even after a professional application. The color was much duller than I thought it would be, and it washed out in a few weeks. I enjoyed trying it, but was not entirely satisfied with the color as my blonde started peeking through after just a wash or two. Guess I'm going back to Ex-Girl, but Baddie was fun to try!"

Wanted to love this so bad :(

"When this dye came out I was so excited to try it the pink in the photos were perfect and exactly wanted. I just got my hair pre lightened and had my stylist use the dye. Unfortunately it’s patchy in a few parts and not the same color as advertised online. At the price of the bottle i expect better quality and I’m extremely disappointed."

So sad

"I just applied this to my daughter's hair and we followed the directions. We didn't lighten her hair but it is a natural blonde probably a level 8 so we were aware of what it should look like with darker hair. We only bought one bottle because there was no information on the box or even in the basic instructions about needing more than one. You have to go searching through the FAQs just to find that information! So that was already frustrating right there because the store didn't have any more in stock and we had already driven over 30 minutes just to go pick up the one bottle. I worked the dye through her hair really well and we left it on about an hour then rinsed with cool water. My daughter's excitement quickly turned to disappointment when there was almost no color on her hair. . . only a very light pink on the lightest parts of her hair!"

"I absolutely LOVE this color. Pink is my all time favorite color and Baddie is the perfect bubble gum, popstar, anime pink. Its NOT neon or super bright hot pink and I love that about it. Depening on the shades of lightest blonde is what makes this color. Your hair needs to be a pale blonde, almost platinum to get the best results. As well as letting it sit in the hair for at least sold hour or 2 in order for the color to really adhere to your hair. If you do that, your good, but anything less than pale or platinum blonde, and not letting it process for an hour or more. You will be disappointed. However am definitely not, it smells amazing too! I bought 6 boxes and are definitely buying more. I pray this color stays apart of the brand forever. 💖💖💖💖"

"this dye looked like exactly the color I wanted, but it went on so patchy. huge weather of my hair were left white blonde, and the dye almost entirely washed out after 2 washes. I was so so sad that this color didn't work out"

Not true to color and patchy

"I’ve been using GDY since they launched. Pink puff has been my best friend for years. I wanted to try a slightly different pink. This went on patchy. You could see the parts of the hair where it wasn’t grabbing at all. I left it on for about 40 minutes and rinsed with cold water and there are so many places that it didn’t set. And it just looks like pink puff. This is the first time I have been disappointed by GDY and I’m rethinking my commitment to them after this."
