How To Use Pro Tips Ingredients

1. To create the best blank canvas for your color, we recommend that you first lighten your hair with our easy-to-use GDY Lightening Kit. Our semi-perms work best over pre-lightened hair, levels 7-10. Please refer to individual colors for the best starting level.

2. Squeeze your color into a plastic bowl. Remember: wear gloves to prevent staining on your hands.

3. Do a strand test before applying the color all over your hair to ensure you love the look.

4. Divide your hair into 4 equal sections and apply dye directly onto dry hair with a color brush or your fingers. Make sure the color is fully saturated throughout each section by applying a dollop of color for every two inch portion of your hair. Gently emulsify/massage into the hair to ensure coverage.

5. Let the color sit on your hair for at least 30 minutes.

6. Rinse with cool water.

With soft blue-green tones reminiscent of jade stone, Jaded is a serene blue-green that feels fresh and airy. For the truest color payoff, hair should be evenly pre-lightened and toned beforehand.

Hair should be pre-lightened to a level 9 or 10. Since underlying warmth can affect the final tone, we recommend pre-toning beforehand using GDY’s Platinum DYEposit to create the ideal icy canvas. If you prefer a more green toned result, skip the pre-toning!

This shade is pastel, so it is not recommended for unlightened hair.
