How To Use Pro Tips Ingredients

To create the best blank canvas for your color, we recommend that you first lighten your hair with our easy-to-use GDY Lightening Kit. Our semi-perms work best over pre-lightened hair, levels 7-10. Please refer to individual colors for the best starting level.
Squeeze your color into a plastic bowl. Remember: wear gloves to prevent staining on your hands.
Do a strand test before applying the color all over your hair to ensure you love the look.
Divide your hair into 4 equal sections and apply dye directly onto dry hair with a color brush or your fingers. Make sure the color is fully saturated throughout each section by applying a dollop of color for every two inch portion of your hair. Gently emulsify/massage into the hair to ensure coverage.
Let the color sit on your hair for at least 30 minutes.
Rinse with cool water.

To maximize the vibrancy of your newly semi-permanent dyed hair, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours before your first shampoo. To minimize fading over time, rinse your hair with cool water each time you wash. Also, try reducing your hair washing days to extend the color even further.
Pink Puff shows up best on level 10 platinum blonde hair.
This shade will most likely add a rose gold tint to medium-blonde hair (level 7-8).
If you want to change up your pastel looks often, Pink Puff is a good one to start with. Our lighter colors (Pink Puff, Peach Fuzz, Stoned Pony) tend to be easier to remove from the hair so you can have fun experimenting.

Waste of Money - Doesn't stay in your hair

"I used a FULL bottle of this on my hair which I only have a partial balyage (got it done back in September so any toner is long gone) and relatively fine hair so that should've been enough. Left it on for an hour and rinsed out, looked great for a few days. Went to wash my hair again in cool water and most of the color vanished. It's now been LESS THAN two weeks and the color has 96% left my hair. Don't waste your money"

Beautiful color, make sure hair is very light!

"I loved Pink Puff! I didn't lighten all the way to level 10 though (which is what GDY recommends) and it definitely was not as cool and bubblegummy because of it. BUT it did still come out to be a great color that I'm happy with! I would say if your hair is currently a light brown plan on 2 bleaching sessions if you want it to perfectly match the promo photos. But either way it's still a great pink that I'd recommend. I wound up using two bottles of it on my hair to make sure it was completely saturated. Smells great and definitely helped my hair get back some moisture after the bleach!"

"This color is everything! It was my first time dying my hair any color other than natural colors so I was nervous but the formula is great and it was very easy. I did not purchase the bowl or brush which I regret not doing so I highly recommend putting that in your cart too.
