How To Use Pro Tips Ingredients

To create the best blank canvas for your color, we recommend that you first lighten your hair with our easy-to-use GDY Lightening Kit. Our semi-perms work best over pre-lightened hair, levels 7-10. Please refer to individual colors for the best starting level.
Squeeze your color into a plastic bowl. Remember: wear gloves to prevent staining on your hands.
Do a strand test before applying the color all over your hair to ensure you love the look.
Divide your hair into 4 equal sections and apply dye directly onto dry hair with a color brush or your fingers. Make sure the color is fully saturated throughout each section by applying a dollop of color for every two inch portion of your hair. Gently emulsify/massage into the hair to ensure coverage.
Let the color sit on your hair for at least 30 minutes.
Rinse with cool water.

To maximize the vibrancy of your newly semi-permanent dyed hair, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours before your first shampoo. To minimize fading over time, rinse your hair with cool water each time you wash. Also, try reducing your hair washing days to extend the color even further.
Peach Fuzz shows up best on level 10 platinum blonde hair.
Haven’t tried vibrant hair dye? Peach Fuzz is great starter color because it will wash out faster than a cooler tone.
If you want to change up your pastel looks often, Peach Fuzz is a good one to start with. Our lighter colors (Peach Fuzz, Stoned Pony, Pink Puff) tend to be easier to remove from the hair.

"I really hope that Peach Fuzz being on sale doesn’t mean it will be discontinued, because it is now my go to dye! I am obsessed with the color to put it mildly. Photos do not do it justice. I applied to level 10(ish) dry roots and bleach bathed mid/lengths by sectioning the hair in quarters, and then brushing the dye in super fine sections, really massaging it in as I went. I did pre tone in the shower, as I find this works better. I left the dye to process for 4(ish) hours under a processing cap. I had to use about three bottles. Came out the EXACT color I was going for on the first try, so rare, and I will continue to maintain it by using it as a deep conditioner every single wash day. I LOVE this dye, it is so hard to find a peach with yellow base, as when I was searching for the color I sampled from every single semi perm brand with peach in the name, and all tint very pink. I have been dying my hair vivid every eight weeks for a decade, and previously I stuck with one color from one brand all those years. I hate having to mix to make a formula. That will also be the case with this, but the sale price has me very nervous it’s going away. Please don’t disappoint me and discontinue it! In the mean time, I’ll keep buying in bulk and replenishing my stock, because I can’t believe how great it is! Thank you for making my vivid color dreams a reality 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑"

"I love peach fuzz! I used it initially over a faded out and then bleached pink puff so it has a bit extra pink tone to it but the orange still comes out a bit too. I want to try some other oranges in the future but I’ll definitely be back to peach fuzz. I think it will be a perfect peachy orange from blonde!"

"i have light dirty blonde hair and it showed up a little bit.. i think that if it was more pigminted, it would show up better. it smells so insanely good though. like tangerines 🍊🍊🍊🍊!!! i just wish in the product description they’d show photos of what it looks like on type 8 blonde hair instead of saying “not recommended”… if that makes sense? anyway, dont let my review stop you from buying! it did dye my hair!!! p.s. if youre dyeing your hair with this, dont rub it in until it turns white (mosy hair dues dont do this but i think that because of the conditioning properties this product does.). it wont dye at all. when i redyed my hair and let the color show while i waited for it to set, it made my hair show more color than the first time i dyed it! c:"

PERFECT pastels!!!

"I wanted to do something new and fun with my hair but couldn’t decide on a color…. so I got 5 to do a fun pastel prism effect! I used peach fuzz, pink puff, stoned pony, KO golden yellow, and sky high blue (diluted with conditioner) and when I tell you this has been one of my most stunning looks I’ve ever done on myself!! I’ve gotten so many compliments, it looks like the colorful reflections on a bubble 🫧 my only complaint I think is that the blue, even after diluting, is still VERY vibrant compared to the rest of the pastels, but honestly it’s so pretty and the placement is fun so I think it still works. 10/10!"

Would peach fuzz or gold show up on medium blonde hair?: Thank you for reaching out about coloring over medium blonde hair. Peach Fuzz is part of our Lighter Daze pastel line of semi-permanent colors. We always suggest applying our Lighter Daze line to pre-lightened, level 10 light blonde hair in order for the color to show up the best. If your hair is any darker than this shade, our Lighter Daze line of colors will not show up as well as you might expect. Depending on underlying tones of your hair, hair porosity, hair texture, etc., your results may vary. Due to the lighter pigment load, Lighter Daze will last 2-4 weeks.
