Level 9

Limelight will appear darker, warmer, and less neon over the yellow tones in level 9 hair.

Level 8

Limelight will give a green tint to level 8 hair and may washout faster.

Level 7

We do not recommend using Limelight over level 7 or darker hair.

How To Use Ingredients

To create the best blank canvas for your color, we recommend that you first lighten your hair with our easy-to-use GDY Lightening Kit. Our semi-perms work best over pre-lightened hair, levels 7-10. Please refer to individual colors for the best starting level.
Squeeze your color into a plastic bowl. Remember: wear gloves to prevent staining on your hands.
Do a strand test before applying the color all over your hair to ensure you love the look.
Divide your hair into 4 equal sections and apply dye directly onto dry hair with a color brush or your fingers. Make sure the color is fully saturated throughout each section by applying a dollop of color for every two inch portion of your hair. Gently emulsify/massage into the hair to ensure coverage.
Let the color sit on your hair for at least 30 minutes.
Rinse with cool water.

Very bold, great hold!

"This dye holds incredibly well, I’d say better than a comparable shade like Manic Panic’s electric lizard- and a billion percent better than any Arctic Fox shade. I shaved my head, started from scratch, and used this after bleaching my fresh baby hair and it was so vibrant it had an aura around it. After around 5 weeks (and many washes, using crazy dandruff shampoo as I do) it only dulled to a sunflower yellow. I visited Japan while it was in this semi-faded shade and a group of small children waiting for a bus pointed and called me “Naruto”, which I felt was a great endorsement. This a very warm shade and very Substance-Green so the cool tones are the first to fade, but it would mix very well with other greens if you’d like. I for one enjoyed the highlighter tone as opposed to GDY’s other greens. It smelled great, moisturized well, had excellent hold, and bled to a minimum, about as much as a box dye would. Love my tennis ball era, and it glows in blue light!"
