How To Use Pro Tips Ingredients

To create the best blank canvas for your color, we recommend that you first lighten your hair with our easy-to-use GDY Lightening Kit. Our semi-perms work best over pre-lightened hair, levels 7-10. Please refer to individual colors for the best starting level.
Squeeze your color into a plastic bowl. Remember: wear gloves to prevent staining on your hands.
Do a strand test before applying the color all over your hair to ensure you love the look.
Divide your hair into 4 equal sections and apply dye directly onto dry hair with a color brush or your fingers. Make sure the color is fully saturated throughout each section by applying a dollop of color for every two inch portion of your hair. Gently emulsify/massage into the hair to ensure coverage.
Let the color sit on your hair for at least 30 minutes.
Rinse with cool water.

To maximize the vibrancy of your newly semi-permanent dyed hair, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours before your first shampoo. To minimize fading over time, rinse your hair with cool water each time you wash. Also, try reducing your hair washing days to extend the color even further.
If you’re blonde and bored or want to switch up your look, Gravedigger is an ideal starter color.
Gravedigger is a light silver, violet-based shade that shows up most vividly level 10 platinum blonde hair.
Overtime, Gravedigger will start to fade to an icy, violet-blonde color.
Add some Gravedigger semi-permanent dye to your conditioner to help keep your color vibrant.

"As a gal that’s been dying her hair solely herself in her bathroom for years (lol) I can say this brand is the only one (not dramatized) to not only not make my hair smell and/or feel more damaged, BUT makes my hair actually feel healthier after. my mother who is 88 uses this all the time and loves it. she is already white all over and this adds great color. however, recently, some strands of her hair are getting a blue tint. how do we stop the blue tint?: Try using silver DYEposit once a week as a color refresher!
