"Loved the result so much. I admit I was hesitant based on the reviews! I had some leftover faded green, did a bleach wash, shampooed my hair only and then added this color once my hair was completely dry! I am wondering why those instructions have been removed from this hair dye though? It used to be on my boxes of other GDY colors. Along with the bleach having instructions for how to do a bleach wash."
"I decided to dye my hair this beautiful color, but it's not true to this color. My hair was already a lighter brown like the level 8 to give you an idea of what it was before. This color It's more like a berry pinkish red, but my hair is currently copperish red my hair is no where near purple. I can't say the product is bad because my hair isn't damaged at all but it's not true to the color. I decided do buy the make it happen so let's see 🙈"
"The positives: The dye smells amazing like fruit loops and citrus and left my hair feeling healthy and happy! It didn't stain my skin (used Vaseline to protect it, but the stuff on my arms and scalp came off with a good scrub). The not so great: It is *nothing* like the color advertised. I started off with an evenly bleached base between a level 7-8 and I let it process for a little over 30 minutes and ended up with what is pictured below. A pink strawberry blonde situation. I wanted a dark moody color and now look like I would sing that strawberry cow song in 2020. Nothing wrong with that, just not at ALL what I wanted or was going for. DO NOT TRUST THE ADVERTISED COLOR!!!"
"I’m wearing Mystic Crystal and I love the color! Next time, I’ll definitely bleach a bit more to get a brighter tone, but it’s a lovely fall color. The packaging is difficult to read - white text on a silver tube is not ideal."
"For some reason, this came out red on me. I lifted my hair to a level in between 8 and 7, and it came out to this light red. The color out the tube seemed to match the purple wine red shown on the model but once I rinsed my hair out the color deposited into this."
"I was very excited about this color and really wanted to go purple all over for fall. The majority of my hair was natural, while the front had faded fashion colors. My hair lifted all over around 8-9 level, only some very light blue in the front that I knew would be different. After applying this color all over my hair came out a mauve pink. The only purple areas are where it covered the blue, which is very pretty but a bummer since my whole head is now a pink color."
