Level 9

Sunstoned over a level 9 will result in a slightly muted peachy champagne.

Level 8

We do not recommend Sunstoned over level 8 or darker hair.

How To Use Pro Tips Ingredients

To create the best blank canvas for your color, we recommend that you first lighten your hair with our easy-to-use GDY Lightening Kit. Our semi-perms work best over pre-lightened hair, levels 7-10. Please refer to individual colors for the best starting level.
Squeeze your color into a plastic bowl. Remember: wear gloves to prevent staining on your hands.
Do a strand test before applying the color all over your hair to ensure you love the look.
Divide your hair into 4 equal sections and apply dye directly onto dry hair with a color brush or your fingers. Make sure the color is fully saturated throughout each section by applying a dollop of color for every two inch portion of your hair. Gently emulsify/massage into the hair to ensure coverage.
Let the color sit on your hair for at least 30 minutes.
Rinse with cool water.

For best results, hair should be pre-lightened to a level 9 or 10.

Unlike cooler pastel shades, such as Jaded, pre-toning is not necessary here. Your hair’s natural warmth actually helps enhance the peachy undertones and gives the color its dimensional finish. For best results, let this shade process for 45-55 minutes.

This shade is pastel, so it is not recommended for unlightened hair.
