How To Use Pro Tips Ingredients

1. To create the best blank canvas for your color, we recommend that you first lighten your hair with our easy-to-use GDY Lightening Kit. Our semi-perms work best over pre-lightened hair, levels 7-10. Please refer to individual colors for the best starting level.

2. Squeeze your color into a plastic bowl. Remember: wear gloves to prevent staining on your hands.

3. Do a strand test before applying the color all over your hair to ensure you love the look.

4. Divide your hair into 4 equal sections and apply dye directly onto dry hair with a color brush or your fingers. Make sure the color is fully saturated throughout each section by applying a dollop of color for every two inch portion of your hair. Gently emulsify/massage into the hair to ensure coverage.

5. Let the color sit on your hair for at least 30 minutes.

6. Rinse with cool water.

On natural levels 6 and 7, Molten creates a deep cherry cola effect that looks subtle indoors but comes alive in direct sunlight.

On levels 8–10, the color appears much brighter and more vivid, giving you a ruby red finish with cool undertones and maximum vibrancy.

This shade can be used on natural and lightened hair, making it a great option for anyone with medium brown to light blonde hair.
