Make It Happen can be used over ash-based, level 9 blonde hair and still add a nice purple hue. Any blonde hair that is too warm or yellow may neutralize and appear more grey based.

How To Use Pro Tips Ingredients

To create the best blank canvas for your color, we recommend that you first lighten your hair with our easy-to-use GDY Lightening Kit. Our semi-perms work best over pre-lightened hair, levels 7-10. Please refer to individual colors for the best starting level.
Squeeze your color into a plastic bowl. Remember: wear gloves to prevent staining on your hands.
Do a strand test before applying the color all over your hair to ensure you love the look.
Divide your hair into 4 equal sections and apply dye directly onto dry hair with a color brush or your fingers. Make sure the color is fully saturated throughout each section by applying a dollop of color for every two inch portion of your hair. Gently emulsify/massage into the hair to ensure coverage.
Let the color sit on your hair for at least 30 minutes.
Rinse with cool water.

To maximize the vibrancy of your newly semi-permanent dyed hair, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours before your first shampoo. To minimize fading over time, rinse your hair with cool water each time you wash. Also, try reducing your hair washing days to extend the color even further.
We recommend pre-lightening your hair to a level 10 platinum blonde for the truest results, but Make It Happen works great on levels 8+.
This shade is office friendly (we think at least)! Make It Happen is a deep eggplant purple shade that you may be able to get away with at work or school.
This shade of purple will fade more on the warmer side. It’s a bit more subtle than our vibrant PPL Eater semi-perm dye.

"Have used this color on two separate occasions now. First time on unbleached, dirty-blonde hair; came out a beautiful DARK purple that really shone through in different lighting. Second time on bleached hair, came out much lighter this time, almost lilac-y, but that could also just be because I did not order enough and was stretching one tube. Doesn't fade super quickly, and fades out through a nice array of shades as it does."

Color Okay, but to be fair I have very dark hair.

"Product smells nice and easy to use. Has a nice silky creamy feel. Mixes well. Applies easy. I have dark brown hair with lots of grey throughout. I don't lift any color so it's depositing on unprocessed hair. It didn't pick up like I would've liked, but will give it a go another time. Washes off skin easy and any place you accidently drop it."

"Is there any way to find out the contents included in the box? I totally think I got ripped off by Sally's beauty supply. . . . .
