How to Mix Hair Color at Home
Mixing semi-permanent hair color is simple when you follow a few basic steps.
1. Start with a test mix + test strand
Blend a small amount first to check if the tone is right for you. Apply the mix on a small section of your hair, let it process for a few minutes, then scrape it off to make sure it fits your hair goals!
2. Use a bowl, a brush, and wear gloves!
Mix your color in a bowl with a color brush until fully blended.
3. Adjust your ratio
More dark shade = deeper color.
More vivid shade = brighter result.
4. Write down your formula
If you love the result, save your ratio for next time.
