Let’s create your own PSL recipe using some of your favorite Good Dye Young Semi-Permanent and DYEposit shades.
TIPS FOR THE BEST PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE HAIR
- Whether you are dying all of your hair or just a section, you should lighten your hair before applying your semi-permanent shade for the best, most vibrant results from your Pumpkin Spice Latte. Use the GDY Lightening Kit.
- Remember to rinse your semi-permanent shade with cool water. Cool water closes the cuticle, sealing in the pigment. You can apply a small amount of Rinse for an extra bit of conditioning.
- If you currently have a color that contrasts with orange — such as blue and purple — you might have a more difficult time switching to a Pumpkin Spice Latte Shade, so it may take multiple colors to get the result you’re looking for. When applying your lightener to remove as much pigment as you can, we’d suggest trying a bleach wash for your mid-lengths and ends, and then lightening your roots.
- If you love your Pumpkin Spice Latte Hair and want to touch it up, use the Copper DYEposit in the shower once a week to tone up your color and hold onto your shade throughout the fall season — and after!
