Summer Tour Dye-ary: Paris

Brian gave us the inside scoop on how he created Hayley's on-stage looks for the Paris shows, including the exact products and techniques he used! Keep reading if you want to re-create Hayley's tour looks!

"We knew we wanted to add a pop of color in this hair to complete this look. Hayley picked blue & also picked the placement. The crazy part is One Night Only is so easy to use, when she wanted to show me where she was thinking for placement she just picked it up and started applying herself. She applied & combed through and then I finished up with the styling."

"We went for a pretty monochromatic eye, lip, and cheek look from night #3. We used the Maybelline Lip Vinyl in shade 'Punchy' for the lips and the eyes. The formula is super pigmented but also offers that high-shine look you’d get from an eye gloss. We love playing around with products in this way especially when we know it has strong staying power & payoff. To tie the monochromatic look together I used the Saie Beauty Dew Blush in shades ‘Rosy’ and ‘Peachy.’ I actually used the Saie Blush for almost every show in Paris and was excited to see how many people were asking about it. I’m loving these shades together on Hayley."

"For night 3 we thought ‘let’s bring back the 'After Laughter' Glitter Tears. I used glitter from Danessa Myricks and the Ilia Beauty Liquid Powder Liner in shade 'Cork'. For complexion we want hydrated, glowy, natural so I prepped the skin with Laneige cream skin, Laneige Water Bank, and Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum.’ From there I used the Kosas Skin-Improving Concealer & my all time favorite concealer, the Kosas Revealer Concealer. When I use this concealer with a foundation I use 1-2 shades to help brighten and conceal but also as a highlighter. Sort of like a reverse contour where I highlight the high points rather than defining the angles with more bronzer or contour. For cheeks I used the Saie Beauty Dewy Blush in ‘Rosy,’ finished with the Kosas Cloud Set Powder in ‘Airy', and set it all with Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip setting spray."

"For the Hair I prepped with GDY’s Prime which is a must in my kit because it’s formulated specifically for dyed hair. We just brought Hayley back to bleach blonde so we really want to maintain the health and integrity of her hair after lightening and as we look to use a ton of hot tools on tour this summer. I’ve been really loving The Ouai’s stylers and used a bunch to create this look along with the Kevin Murphy Flex Spray."
