Brian and the Creative Team at Fruits Hair Lab
Brian O’ Connor is a staple in the styling scene in the South’s entertainment capital, Nashville. With over 21 years of experience in color, cutting, and styling, Brian O’Connor has created stage-ready shades for Fall Out Boy, Sheryl Crow, Lady A — and of course, Hayley Williams. His artistry has been recognized by multiple credible publications including Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Allure, Bustle, and Mane Addicts.
Since childhood, hair color has given Brian the courage to be different. Today, he empowers others to do the same as co-founder of Good Dye Young & co-owner of Fruits Lab. By utilizing his craft for color and style, Brian masterfully develops high quality hair formulas that deliver incredible results. Breaking boundaries and redefining what inclusion, community, and vivid hair look like, Brian continues to help others leave the salon (or their bathroom) feeling more confident, bold, and unapologetically themselves.

Life-long rockstar & lead singer of the Grammy Award-winning band Paramore, Hayley Williams has always used her hair as an avenue of personal expression and artistic creativity. Tired of traditional dyes killing her hair and in search of something better, Hayley became the co-founder of the vegan & cruelty-free hair color brand Good Dye Young with her longtime hair stylist & makeup artist, Brian O’Connor.
Since meeting in 2006, Hayley and Brian have developed a friendship-meets-creative-partnership that has been going strong for over a decade. Featured in Paramore’s 2007 breakout “Misery Business” music video, Hayley’s iconic fiery hot orange color would go on to become Good Dye Young’s first of many creations: Riot. After years of dreaming, Hayley & Brian opened up the doors of Fruits Lab in Nashville to provide a community for salon professionals to come together and create.
