What does it do?
Rinse is a color protecting conditioner power-packed with ingredients to detangle, soften, and repair hair without weighing it down. Infused with a blend of natural ingredients that work to leave hair soft and manageable. Sunflower seed oil helps to control frizz, tackles dryness, and damage and helps make the hair more manageable. This versatile oil blend maintains your hair’s luster and texture.
What does it smell like?
Scented with Bergamot and Palo Santo, a combination of essential oils for a citrus scent with woody undertones.
This is for all hair types! Anyone with colored hair, bright and bold or natural and subtle.
Safe on:
Color treated, keratin treated, chemically treated hair.
How To Use:
After using GDY’s WASH, work on hair starting with your ends, working up the hair shaft. Rinse out.

Key Ingredients:
Hibiscus Extract Protects, softens and repairs damaged hair. Hibiscus extract contains high levels of linoleic acid, oleic acid, amino acids, and polysaccharides that deliver potent antioxidant protection. This helps prevent biological aging from exposure of the sun’s harsh UVA/UVB rays.
Deep Moisture Complex Contains moisturizing sodium PCA and sodium lactate that promote damage recovery and support healthy hair. It also provides color protection and retention benefits, giving locks brilliant shine.
Sunflower Seed Oil Sunflower oil helps the skin and scalp retain its moisture, softens hair, adds shine, conditions and prevents breakage. Also high in antioxidants, particularly vitamins A, C, and E. Protects hair from harsh UVA/UVB rays that cause color fading.

I wish that I knew I was being sent a sample of this along with the dye I purchased before also purchasing the full-size wash & rinse. The products leave my hair feeling greasy and unwashed, no matter how well I rinse it out. Quite disappointing because there are not very many shampoo/conditioners out there tailored to bright-coloured hair. I know there can typically be an adjustment period with new products, going to keep trying to give this a go in between other shampoos (as my hairdresser has suggested) but I don’t think it’s going to be something I use regularly. If your hair is already typically oily and fine like mine, you probably won’t like these products.

Thanks for your review. Im sorry you aren’t in love with our hair care yet! I will definitely say less is more with our conditioner for sure. Smaller portions still have a big impact but may leave less of a greasy feeling you are experiencing.

I LOVE Wash and Rinse both. I previously used another salon-quality shampoo/conditioner combo and didn’t think I would find much of a difference from GDY but I was happily wrong.
First of all, Wash and Rinse smell AMAZING- I can’t emphasize this enough. I think that alone justifies my buying it. I get compliments on how my hair smells!
They also leave my hair feeling unbelievably soft and shiny. My hair has been chemically treated (permed) so it’s taken a lot of damage. Because Wash and Rinse are naturally formulated, I feel confident that I am doing all I can to prevent any further damage or breakage. These products make my hair feel soft and strong, and I recommend them even if your hair isn’t color treated.
This combo has done wonders alone, but I recently added Pre Wash and somehow my hair is shinier and softer than even before.
Overall- I want to thank GDY for this great line! I really love it and it makes me genuinely look forward to showering. I’m so happy to have products that I truly feel are worth the price and put me in a great mood when I use them.

I have pretty thick and long hair, and after doing a double bleaching with the GDY lightening kit (and some parts with some leftover bleach of another brand that wasn’t as nice to my hair), my hair felt back to normal after one use of this stuff after the wash!! LOVE LOVE LOVE both the shampoo and conditioner. I was concerned at first because the shampoo did not lather but it is amazing. The set is the best thing to ever happen to my (always) colored hair. I have tried salon sets way more expensive than these that continuously and quickly fade my bright colors and reds. This has kept my red SO vibrant I am absolutely obsessed and am so happy that GDY made these. The conditioner leaves my hair soft, shiny and looking great, not dried out and frizzy. We’ve been playing with the Color Kind line at our salon, crown buffalo. We use a lot of lightener as well as GDY semi-perm color, Poser Paste, and other styling products. As a stylist of over 16 years, salon owner, and recently back on the on-scalp-lightening bandwagon, this conditioner is seriously soothing! The scent is delicious (just like Poser Paste) and the easy saturation of all my strands felt like a real treat. I’m a conditioner lover. I usually only wash every 3-4 days, and my conditioner lasts foreverrrrr. The texture of this conditioner is so silky smooth, and the scent mirrors Wash, but somehow seems softer? It’s very light weight wise and I have incredibly short hair so I don’t need much. I feel like this will last me a good 6 months, which is nice. As far as pricing is concerned I am incredibly happy with my purchase for both Wash and Rinse, and will continue to purchase indefinitely from my switch of Aveda Products.
