HOW TO APPLY

Doesn’t really work unless you use a looot. It’s hard if you just need a tiny bit of a custom lighter shade and end up making a lot just to cut pigment by just a bit (not pastel). It cuts vibrance rather than saturation.

Hi there,
Thanks for your review. We suggest using a full bottle of fader with drops of the color to create the custom color of your dreams.

I love good dye young but this product is a flop. It doesn’t lighten any color, it’s like a conditioner. No white or anything to lighten the tone of the other colors so that’s a bummer.

Hi There,
Im sorry you didn’t love our Fader. Fader is meant to be used mostly and then ad a drop or two of the color until you get the desired shade you want. Fader cuts the pigment so you can custom made shades! You can also check out our newer line Lighter Daze for pre-made pastel colors. Thanks for your review!

Absolutely loved this, I tried it for the first time! I have naturally black hair and it definitely did the job! I was able to get the Narwhal real color without bleaching my hair various times! I’ll definitely be using this from now on. It’s my new favorite!

Was hoping to get a light-ish purple when I mixed this with ppl eater in a 2:1 ratio. Unfortunately it didn’t seem to fade the color at all and it came out neon purple despite my heavy use of faded.

Hi Lillie! We are sorry you had a poor experience using our Fader. When using Fader, you only need a small dot of color compared to Fader to create pastels. If you would like to discuss more, please send us an email at [email protected]!

I ordered about 6 colors a few weeks ago to see what types of shades I could create with Fader. I didn’t use them all to color my hair of course but I did come up with a super-cool combo. I called it “None More Faded to Ruin”. I took some None More Black, mixed it with some Fader and then added Blue Ruin and it was a nice dark blue color. With Fader the possibilities are endless!
